the path that led me here

About me

I’m Krissi, an artist, maker, creative and wellbeing practitioner. A love of creativity, embodiment and the natural world has been a constant thread throughout my life. From a young age, I noticed that when I was creating art, exploring movement or spending time immersed in nature, I felt more deeply connected to myself, to my inner world, my intuition and the truth of who I really am.

I’ve always felt devoted to creating a life that feels truly my own - following curiosity, allowing my heart to lead me, going against the grain and finding a way to live with meaning and authenticity. A life where I can do what I love, express what feels alive within me, and contribute something meaningful to the people and world around me.

This desire to create and explore has expressed itself through many forms over the years - from silversmithing, painting and working with clay, to practising yoga, intuitive movement and dance. Though they may look different on the surface, each offers me a way to become present, listen inwardly, follow what feels alive and come home to myself.

Over time, I began to realise that these weren’t simply things I enjoyed. They were ways of listening, exploring and finding my way back to what feels true.

A journey towards connection

With my natural curiosity and creative spirit came a deep yearning to explore - to wander beyond the familiar, experience different ways of living and discover more of the world. In my early twenties, this calling led me to set out with my backpack, travelling with an open heart and a desire to discover new places, cultures, traditions and perspectives.

From 2016–2020, I lived out of a backpack, exploring across different parts of the world. Along the way, I was introduced to diverse philosophies, cultural traditions and approaches to wellbeing, spirituality, and our relationship with ourselves, others and the natural world.

I learned practices centred around movement, mindfulness, meditation, ritual and a more embodied way of experiencing life. Although yoga had been part of my life since I was 18, travelling opened me to new ways of experiencing and understanding the practice and philosophy behind it, and I began to see yoga not simply as something I practised, but as a way of living and relating to myself and the world around me.

What began as a personal practice gradually became a way of life - and something I felt called to share with others.

Deepening my practice & training

In 2020, I travelled to India to complete my 200-hour Multi-style Yoga Teacher Training in Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga. The experience not only deepened my understanding of yoga and meditation, but became a pathway into a deeper understanding of myself.

Since then, I’ve continued to explore and deepen my practice through further training in Yin Yoga, trauma-informed yoga, somatic practices and embodied movement.

In 2026, I returned to India for three months of immersive study, deepening my exploration of embodied yoga with Parveen Nair and feminine embodiment practices rooted in the classical Shakta tradition with Sonam Dukpa. During this time, I also completed my Sound Healing Therapy training at Vinyasa Yoga Ashram.

Alongside movement-based practices, I’ve developed a deep interest in the body through healing touch. I trained in Indian Head Massage, Ayurvedic Abhyanga massage in India and Thai Yoga Massage in Thailand, exploring different traditional approaches to working with the body through touch, pressure, movement and presence.

Together, these experiences have expanded the way I understand wellbeing, not as something separate from the body, but as a relationship with the whole self. They continue to shape the way I guide others, weaving together movement, breath, sound, touch and embodied presence.

My Embodied approach

My approach has also been deeply shaped by my own experiences of grief and personal transformation. Through this journey, I came to understand the profound value of somatic and embodied practices - particularly the ability to slow down, become aware of what is happening within us, and meet our sensations, emotions and responses with curiosity and compassion rather than judgement.

I became fascinated by the subtle language of the body: the ways it can communicate what we may not yet have words for, and how developing greater awareness can help us understand what we’re feeling, what we need and when we might need to pause, soften or create space.

This journey has transformed the way I relate to my own body and inner world, and ultimately the way I hold space for others.

Today, I weave together yoga, embodied movement, breathwork, meditation, sound therapy, touch and restorative practices to create nurturing, personalised experiences that honour each person’s unique needs.

Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I believe every body is different, and every session is an opportunity to meet you exactly where you are.

Whether you’re looking to move more freely, reconnect with your body, cultivate a sense of calm, find stillness or simply take time for yourself, my intention is to offer a safe, supportive and compassionate space where you can slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with yourself - exactly as you are.

Meet Krissi

I’m Krissi, an artist, maker, yoga teacher and wellbeing practitioner. For over 17 years, yoga has been a thread woven through my life - beginning as a personal practice when I was 18, and gradually becoming a deeper exploration of embodiment, movement, mindfulness and connection.

My approach has been shaped by years of practice and a passion for learning that has taken me across the world, exploring different yoga disciplines alongside meditation, somatics, embodied movement, sound healing, restorative practices and bodywork. Through this ongoing exploration, I’ve developed a deep interest in the relationship between body, mind and emotions, and the ways we can cultivate a more connected relationship with ourselves.

I create spaces where you can slow down enough to listen inwardly, noticing how you feel, exploring movement with curiosity, or simply allowing yourself to rest and receive.

Each session is tailored to what you’re needing support with and what you’d like to explore.

Whether we’re flowing through yoga, exploring embodied movement, settling into Yin, receiving sound healing, creating space for deep rest, or following something more intuitive together, my intention is to meet you where you are and create a space that feels supportive, nurturing and right for you in that moment.

My training spans different yoga disciplines, somatic and embodied practices, sound healing, restorative practices and bodywork, giving me a broad range of practices to draw from. I intuitively weave these together to create a session that feels personal and supportive to you.
